Xian 4 days Private Tour Pacakge A(With Hotel)

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Airport Pick-up + The rest day is free on your own

You will be met and picked up from Xian Xianyang International Airport and transferred to your hotel in downtown Xian, the rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 2 Qinshihuang's Tomb + Terracotta Warriors and Horses + Banpo Museum (B + L)

1. Pick-up from your hotel around 8:30am, First visit the Mausoleum of the first Qin Emperor (Qin Shi Huang's tomb), the unopened Qin Shi Huang's tomb (the first emperor's tomb), the largest underground royal tomb in the world. There is evidence suggesting that Qin Shi Huang's Tomb remains relatively intact. Qin Shi Huang (259 BC - 210 BC), the first emperor of China, ascended the throne at the age of 13, when construction of his tomb began. He ordered 720,000 conscript laborers to to build his royal tomb. It was completed just-in-time in 210 BC for his use. The tomb is located just 1.5km west of the site of Terra-cotta warriors and horses Museum .

2. Then drive to Terra-cotta warriors and horses, It is located about 30km east of the Xian City. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies as the UNESCO.

3. Drvie to Banpo Museum. the site of a village that dates back around 6,000 years to the Neolithic era, which is known as the Yangshao Culture in China. It is situated 1km away, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a giant architectural complex in the Tang-dynasty style. It occupies an area of 70,000 square metres, and the construction area being more than 50,000 square metres. It focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization.

Day 3 Shaanxi History Museum + Big Wild Goose Pagoda + City Wall (B + L)

1. Pick-up from your hotel aournd 8:30am, and then drive to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. It is a must on your Xian trip if you are interested in Chinese history. It is one of the four largest museums in China ( the other three are Forbidden City Museum In Beijing, Shanghai Museum and Henan Provincial Museum). It is a giant architectural complex in the Tang-dynasty style. It occupies an area of 70,000 square metres, and the construction area being more than 50,000 square metres. It focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization.

2. Then take you to Big wild Goose pagoda for its outside visit (stop for photos and no entry). Big Goose Pagoda is one of the oldest structures in China and one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. It was built to store the scriptures and statues Xuan Zang had brought back from India. Originally Big Goose Pagoda consisted of a brick structure of five storeys and was about 60 meters high. First built in 589A.D.in the Sui Dynasty. Between AD 701 and AD 704 during the reign of the Empress Wu Zetian five more storeys were added to the pagoda making ten in all. Unfortunately it was damaged during World War II and reduced to seven storeys, which is as it remains today. The Big Goose Pagoda is one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xian today.

3. After lunch, driver back to city center to visit City Wall. The main magnet of Xian is the city wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. It was enlarged in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) from the city wall initially built in Tang Dynasty (618 -907). Now it is 12 meters tall, 12-14 meters wide overing 14 kilometers in length with a deep moat surrounding it. You can walk, even cycle on the wall. Its south gate is the most largest with a suspension bridge. Most of the tourists choose the south gate for sightseeing. The visit takes about 1.5 hour.

4. After the tour, you will be transfered to the railway station or airport.

Day 4 Muslim Quarter+ The Great Mosque + Bell and Drum Tower + Drop-off at Airport (B + L)

1. You will be picked up from hotel at 8:30am and explore the Muslim Quarter Firstly. Mulim Quarter is the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City, Shaanxi Province. Located to the north of the West Street in the city center, the quarter covers several blocks inhabitated by over 20,000 Muslims. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque in the Huajue Lane is the most famous and popular. Muslim food and souvenir market is another feature of the area.

2. Then pay a visit to Great Mosque in the Muslim Quarters. The Great Mosque in Xian is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China.

3. Visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square, The Bell Tower, is a stately traditional building, that marks the geographical center of the ancient capital. From this important landmark extend East, South, West and North Streets, connecting the Tower to the East, South, West and North Gates of the City Wall of the Ming Dynasty. Across the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square. Both of them are called the 'sister buildings' or 'morning bell and dark drum'. In ancient China, especially from the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), the drums were used to signal the running of time and on occasion were used as an alarm in emergency situations.
